Romance Writers of Australia Bushfire Book Appeal
The RWA is collecting books to give to the devastated communities.
The bushfire victims have lost everything. Necessities will be on their list for a long time to come as people struggle to rebuild their lives, so most won’t have money to spare on books.
But we, as readers and writers, know that books – especially feel-good escapist books with happy endings – can bring comfort and time out from the problems people face.
So RWA is collecting books, new or in pristine condition only, for children and adults, to give to the devastated communities.
