Award-winning children’s author and editor Mark Carthew and Celapene Press publisher Kathryn Duncan talk about the collaborative process on the recently released Machino Supremo! Poems about Machines (Celapene press) co-written by Mark and Janeen Brian & ill. by John Veeken.

Mark will also discuss his collaboration with a range of Australian and international publishers, authors and illustrators. Kathryn will share her industry perspectives as a publisher member of SPUNC, the Small Press Underground Networking Community. <www.celapenepress.com.au>.

Mark’s books and series have received many accolades including Drama Victoria’s Best New Australian Publication for the VoiceWorks play script series (Pearson Education) which has sold over a million copies worldwide.

Mark’s title Can You Keep a Secret? Timeless Rhymes to Share and Treasure ill.
