David Astle has been a freelance writer for over twelve years, tackling such features as bikie gangs and cooking courses. He’s also the author of two novels, plus the true-crime thriller One Down, One Missing, and the trivia-travel guide to Australia, Offbeat.

Sian Prior (www.sianprior.com) has been a journalist for nearly two decades, both in print and on radio, and is an award-winning short fiction writer. She also teaches Journalism and Non-Fiction in RMIT’s Professional Writing and Editing Diploma course.

Elly Varrenti is an author, actress, teacher and broadcaster. Her most recent book – This is NOT my Beautiful Life - is published by Penguin and she is a regular columnist for ABC Radio National’s Life Matters program.

Bookings are not confirmed until payment is made. Refunds will only be given where a cancellation is made three working days prior to an event. The VWC reserves the right to cancel any event up to two days prior. Due to the nature of a 12-month program, event line-up may be subject to change.
