Non-fiction Masterclass
Saturday 21 August 2010 - Sunday 22 August 2010
This weekend intensive focuses on research, characterisation, observation and narrative technique in the creation of non-fiction. Participants apply the skills of observation, imagination and thought that can breathe meaning into facts. Day one concentrates on research skills. Day two focuses on transforming research into readable prose.

Margaret Simons is a freelance journalist and author of eight books and numerous essays and articles. Her most recent books include The Content Makers – Understanding the Australian Media, Penguin (2007), and Faith, Money and Power – What the Religious Right Means for Politics Published, Pluto (2007).
