Presented by: John Ryan
Rating: All levels
Type: Seminar

Because we read differently online, writing needs to be different too. But how? Writing for print is almost exclusively about communicating – ideas, opinions, instructions … But writing for the web is about three things: communicating (message and information delivery), navigating (links, navigation elements and calls to action) and finding (search, keywords and search engine optimisation). For writers, being published used to be the big hurdle. Now, you can be published online with the click of a button; being found and read is the big challenge. Find out how online readers read and how good online writers write.
