Year of the Novel - Advanced

The advanced Year of the Novel is tailored for those who have covered the initial ground of novel writing. Successful participants will have completed a Year of the Novel course and/or a first novel. The course provides a supportive and critical forum in which participants can vent problems and explore techniques that will move their latest novel closer to completion.
Andrea Goldsmith has published 6 novels. Her most recent, REUNION, was published by 4th Estate in 2009 to wide acclaim. She has conducted many courses at the VWC, including the Year of the Novel.
Prospective participants are to submit a brief CV of their writing credits, a 250-word (max) synopsis of their current novel together with a 750-word (max) excerpt. Submission deadline 26 February.
Please note: For all the Year of Courses a minimum $200 deposit is required at time of booking to secure your place. The full amount must be paid no later than two weeks prior to course start.
