Melbourne Writers' Festival

Annual festival, run over 10 days. Seeks to showcase the art and talent of the writer and enhance the pleasure of the reader. The festival is a celebration of writing and reading, of books and ideas. It involves over 150 writers and thousands of readers over eight days, and includes forums, discussions, interviews and book launches. The festival presents writers from Australia’s literary community alongside a line-up of overseas guests.
