Ballarat Writers Inc produces at least four writing-related events every year. The outline of this year’s events was:
Literary trivia night
Ballarat Writers Showcase (local writers talking about writing) The First Word – a series of workshops about every stage of writing
Pure Poetry Workshop and Pure Poetry Recital – poetry workshop for selected local emerging poets, followed by public recital of their poetry in a program of contemporary classical Australian music (piano, violin & cello)
